Department and Kimberton Participate in Engine Company Operations

On Wednesday Evening all three Phoenixville Stations along with the Kimberton Fire Company participated in a mutual aid training exercise at the Redners Market parking lot along French Creek. The topic for the evening was drafting and stretching hoselines as well as driver pump training. Crews drilled for 2 hours utilizing 1 3/4 pre-connects, 2 1/2 Blitz Lines and Master Streams utilizing Engine 65, Engine 66-1 and Tower 61. The drill was considered a success for all members as everyone learned something.
