Accident with Injuries on Starr Street

Engine 65, Engine 66 and MICU 67 responded to Starr St and Second Ave on Tuesday morning just before 11AM for an accident with injuries. PFD units arrived onscene to find a two vehicle off-set head-on collision with injuries to both drivers and a dog and medical treatment was immediately provided. Skycare was landed at an adjacent baseball field in Reeve's Park to transport one driver to a Philadelphia trauma center while a second MICU from Royersford responded and transported the other driver to Phoenixville Hospital. Valley Veterinary Hospital Staff responded to the scene and transported the injured dog to their office on Main St for treatment. All units were clear of the scene within the hour.
